Zeolite Granules

Farmers mostly use excess doses of chemical fertilizers to ensure leaching losses at the same time to get higher productivity. This is expensive and in-efficient approach leading environmental damage, consequently, leads to decrease the quality & quantity of crop biomass. Apart from usage of regular NPK fertilizers at different stages of growth, plant requires various nutritional elements for metabolic processes viz. photosynthesis, respiration, plant cell development, transportation of nutritional molecules and enzyme synthesis etc.

Zeolite works like a fertilizer battery by attracting & holding nutrients by chemical bond until actively taken by plants. Zeolite prevents rapid leaching of nutrients without altering the drainage quality of soil.

Presently, Bentonite is widely used in plant growth promoter products, even though there are limited advantages. As compared with Bentonite, Zeolite is superior in terms of Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) adsorption capacity etc. Many Agronomists in the World had visualized that, proper application of Zeolite in soil delivers superior results in terms of soil health & crop productivity.

Zeolite is a tecto-silicate, has infinite, three dimensional system of tunnels and cages which are capable for holding the molecules larger than these channels, hence Zeolites are called as “molecular sieves”. Zeolite has a highly porous structure, hence capable of adsorbing many different types of gases, moisture and chemicals, heavy metals elements etc.

Benefits
  • High Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC).
  • Acts as a slow release carrier for nutrients.
  • Successfully holds nutrients and moisture near the root growth zone.
  • Improves nutrients uptake efficiency.
  • Provides large surface area and porosity.
  • Excellent soil conditioner.
